FIRENZE - SIENA - FIRENZE

If you had just one week to spend in Italy and wanted
to see the crown jewels of Tuscany, this could be the tour
for you. Four days of relatively easy riding take you from
Firenze through the Chianti region to Siena and then on to
San Gimignano and back to Firenze. Don’t be misled; the
riding is easy only relative to other rides in Tuscany.
These are still the Tuscan hills, and you will be going up
and down many of them. Nevertheless the distances are
not long, and you should be in the saddle for no more than
three or four hours each day leaving you plenty of time to
enjoy the sights at your destination.
Day 1: Firenze—Radda in Chianti, 54 km/ 33.5 mi., PG.
Day 2: Radda in Chianti—Siena, 62 km/ 38.5 mi., G.
Day 3: Siena—San Gimignano, 62 km/ 38.5 mi., PG-13.
Day 4: San Gimignano—Firenze, 72 km/ 44.5 mi., PG-13.
